For over 5000 years people have been searching for the fountain of youth. Alexander did it. Ponce Deleon did it. I will expose some myths about aging and suggest ways to feel younger. There is no fountain of youth. But the good news is, you can take better care of yourself and feel better, look better, stay strong, and live above the crowd. Read this carefully, especially if you are interested in staying younger because there are big errors, potentially fatal errors that you could make with so-called "anti-aging" treatments.

Over fifty scientists that agree there is no anti-aging remedy that's proven effective. There are a lot for sale, but none proven to work. If you're going to a longevity clinic, or you're involved with "anti-aging" products or you're on the internet be careful! Reversing old age is not possible.

Antioxidants
Many promote antioxidant pills to slow down aging. There has been no proof according to scientists that this works. The antioxidant hawkers say it helps with free radicals that cause aging of the cell. Free radicals occur in the cell due to oxygenation, processes that go on naturally. Antioxidants like vitamin E and C help repair damage done by free radicals. They help prevent cancer and other disorders, but no one has proven they reverse aging.

Eat Real Food

What should you eat to age well? Scientists say that you're better off eating fruits and vegetables than just swallowing antioxidant pills. They contain 100's of compounds that are good for you and work together with antioxidants. Your best bet for a diet to reduce cell damage is eating fresh fruits and vegetables and not just taking pills. This will help prevent cancer too. Eat blueberries, cherries, kiwis, pink grapefruit, oranges, plums, prunes, raisons, raspberries, red grapes, and strawberries, as they are all rich in anti-oxidants and compounds that work with antioxidants. Eat them fresh, raw, and clean. Vegetables like; alfalfa sprouts, beets, broccoli flowers, Brussels sprouts, corn, eggplant, kale, onions, red bell peppers, and spinach, are all rich in compounds that work together with the anti-oxidants to keep you well.

Hormones

When it comes to "anti-aging" anything, be very wary. Various entities are trying to sell men and women hormones. This is dangerous especially when it's pitched as "anti-aging therapy." There is no proven anti-aging treatment. If you're taking melatonin or if you were told a growth hormone will reverse aging, look out. Testosterone and other hormones have potentially serious side effects. For example, ERT (estrogen replacement therapy), has side effects like breast cancer, and blood clots. Be skeptical when hormonal therapies are promoted as anti-aging products as they can kill you.
